SUNSKN is a sustainable SF brand. I chose this as a personal project as skincare is something I am passionate about. The goal of this project is to build a brand identity for this fictional brand and also create a package design.
Design Process
Brainstorm and Ideation I had to lay out all important information for myself. What is the brand? How is it? After this, I like to have something visual explaining the concept so I look up for images that express the keywords and the brand.
Logo and Brand Template. An essential part of a brand is its logo. Based on the previous research, I tried to sketch up a logo that would be simple and minimal yet summer-like. I did the same for the other assets like font and illustrations.
Packaging. According to the branding and research, I wanted a simple tube. This was also a matter of visual hierarchy. I still wanted it to have some colors and be slightly different from each other.
Brand Items. Summer also means beach tote, and I wanted it to not just be a logo on a tote bag but be a little more sophisticated. For both the toe and the socials, I wanted to keep the wave-like shape as part of the branding.
