The HER NIGHT event is powered by C3 Toronto to gather ladies around the city in order to draw them to God and also give them a female christian community. This project promotes this event Online through posts, but also in person through printed invites. This project also encompasses the designs require for this event,such as signage, display screens, and game cards.
Design Process
The Project Manager assigned event designs (IG posts, stories, screens) along with copy and necessary assets (QR codes, images). The Art Director provided design guidelines (fonts, colors, patterns).
The copy layout is defined: the title is centered for emphasis, while details are typically placed at the bottom of the design, unless additional focus is desired, as in certain screen designs.
Text styling. The main font for this project is Boiling Black, primarily used for accentuating titles. Bright Melody is used for general copy, with occasional mix-ins of Boiling Black. Smaller details utilize Watson for its distinctiveness compared to the others.
Color addition. As per the Art Director's mood direction, the primary color #F2D0E3, a lively pink, dominates the project, whether as a background or design element. This choice aligns with the theme of a vibrant and feminine ladies' night..
Assets design. To harmonize with the bold fonts and strong colors, provided photos were stylized into silhouettes for certain screens. This choice allowed the title to remain the focal point while subtly integrating secondary assets, maintaining consistency without overpowering the design's aesthetic.
Additional design assets. To breathe life into the design, I added assets like squiggly lines and flowers. These touches enhanced the event's friendly mood and transformed the designs into visually appealing compositions.
